Jeanne Virca is a life sciences professional with deep proficiency in sales and business development. Early on her career she started off as a senior associate research scientist at Bayer before making her way into sales and business development. She has over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry leading sales teams for such tools providers as GE Healthcare and business development teams licensing technology in the medical device materials market place with DSM Biomedical. Her strengths include a passion for new technologies and a creative approach to problem solving. She is ready to take all the skills she’s acquired and apply them to her new position as Head of Sales and Business Development at Bikanta Corporation.

Although her days as a bench top scientist are over, Jeanne still experiments with chemistry making such personal care items as lotion, solid hair shampoo and conditioner for friends and family with the added benefit of eliminating plastic bottles from the environment. Her garden yields a number of fruit, vegetables and herbs and Jeanne turns them into delicious homegrown dishes for dinner parties.  Furthermore, she is an avid hiker with her dog who has enjoyed the beauty of the Oakland/Berkeley hills for many years.
