Each year, Mary Furlong and Associates host the Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit. The event brings together entrepreneurs, leaders in the field of aging and the venture community to explore, share and design products and services that will affect the baby boomer market in coming years. Additionally, this event focuses on helping entrepreneurs think through a successful business. Each year, a competition is thrown aimed at finding products and solutions for issues that the baby boomer generation face. Since Bikanta had won the award previously, Ambika was there to offer guidance and advice to newer companies. While the discussions broadly covered the aging population, Ambika shared her experience on running a startup as well as on early detection of diseases such as cancer. Watch the video here!
