California Life Sciences Association, formerly known as BayBio, recently held its FAST (Fellow All-Star Team Advisory Program) Closing Showcase and Celebration.  Bikanta attended as an alumni from Fall 2014.  Since launching in Fall 2013, FAST has generated >1,800 advisory hours valued at over $475,000 for its 20 FAST companies which have grown significantly, creating 68 new jobs and raising >$48 million.

The FAST Advisory Program provides select companies with intensive team review and coaching to perfect their business model, product development plans, and to build a compelling commercialization strategy. Experienced entrepreneurs, product and business experts (which may include clinical development, regulatory, reimbursement and business development specialists) advise the fellows for 10-12 weeks, culminating in the FAST Showcase where a broad audience attends, including potential investors and partners.
